Dr. Iris Crawford was born and raised in Seattle.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Natural Health Sciences from Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA where she majored in holistic nutrition. She then embarked upon a 6-year pursuit of her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree, which she received from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon.

While in medical school at NCNM Dr. Crawford participated in many extracurricular activities such as student government, committees, and the school newspaper and remains an ambassador to her college as a member of the Presidential Ambassador Leadership Society (PALS).

Dr. Crawford was Lead Practitioner at Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy for 3 years and is the lead author of a chapter in the Naturopathic textbook project; “The Foundations of Naturopathic Medicine”, due for release in 2011. She is also a featured author on HealthierTalk.com.

Dr. Crawford is co-founder of The HCG Professionals as well as an up and coming health spa, NaturKur Wellness Center and Spa. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians (WANP).
